Eating vegan in a restaurant renowned for its chicken is never going to be easy, but there are still some options for any plant-based people out there. 

Here’s what to order at Nando’s if you’re vegan. 

Starters

  • Houmous and Pitta Bread with Peri Peri drizzle (YES, you can even have the drizzle!)
  • Mixed olives
  • Peri Peri nuts 

Mains

So Nando’s are a little lacking when it comes to vegan main meals. However, add some of the sides, and you have got yourself a pretty decent meal. 

  • Quinoa Salad (Just make sure you ask for it without feta)
  • Mixed Leaf Salad
  • Mediterranean Salad (Again, watch out for feta cheese)

Add houmous, pineapple, chilli jam, avocado or a Portobello mushroom if you want to spice things up a bit!

  • Garlic Bread
  • Chips
  • Peri-Salted Chips 
  • Mixed Leaf Side Salad
  • Chargrilled Veg
  • Sweet Potato Mash 

Dessert

  • Mango Gelado
