More and more restaurants are upping their game when it comes to vegan options, and Wagamama is one of the best out there. 

Here’s what you can order from Wagamama if you’re vegan. 

Starters and sides

  • Mixed Mushrooms and Panko Aubergine Hirata Steamed Buns. These fluffy buns are a Wagamama staple.
  • Edamame with salt (or with chilli) 
  • Wok-fried Greens 
  • Yasai Steamed Gyoza. A favourite here at Gymshark Central. 
  • Raw Salad. Lots of green goodness served with Wagamama house dressing.


  • Kare Burosu. A delicious tofu and noodle broth that is perfect for the colder weather! 
  • Tofu Harusame Glass Noodle Salad. Not just your average salad – this one is definitely worthy of the gram. 
  • Vegatsu. A vegan alternative to the infamous dish Wagamama became famous for. 
  • Yasai Itame. A spicy coconut soup with veggies and tofu – perfect if you want a bit of a kick. 
  • Yasai Katsu Curry. Similar to the vegatsu, but this time you've got butternut squash, aubergine and sweet potato coated in crispy breadcrumbs. 
  • Yasai Pad Thai. Noodles, tofu, veggies and peanuts – what’s not to like?  
  • Yasai Yaki Soba with Rice (or Udon) Noodles. Not a fan of tofu? No worries – these dishes are the perfect vegan alternative. None of the tofu, all of the flavour. 
  • Yasai Samla Curry. A spicy lemongrass and coconut curry that is not for the faint-hearted. 


  • Lemongrass and Lime Sorbet or Pink Guava and Passion Fruit Sorbet. Both served with fresh mint – the perfect way to finish your vegan meal!
