The ‘My Vision’ campaigns were created to delve deeper in to the world of our athletes, who continuously push themselves to the limit and have inspired the lives of so many.
‘Somebody has to be number one, why can’t I be that guy?’
Doug Censor grew up in New York City. The shy and quiet guy, who kept to himself, and had a close circle of friends.
The attitude and dedication that took him to the top of his gaming career, also saw him become a sponsored Gymshark athlete.
Sacrificing his love of sports and school grades for his need to become number one within the gaming industry, Doug would not stop until his mission was complete. Taking this attitude with him throughout life, the once quiet and shy boy was a thing of the past, even taking it so far as to travel to Mexico to meet his now girlfriend, Yanet Garcia.
After taking a trip to the Arnold Fit Expo with a friend and seeing the Hodge Twins at the Gymshark stand, he felt inspired to take his training one step further, and Doug put an end to stereotypes- being a professional gamer, and being in shape. Which led him to becoming a sponsored Gymshark athlete.
Watching Doug’s ‘My Vision’ video will leave you wondering, why haven’t I already gone out and got what I wanted in life?
