*recipe makes 4 servings
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 3 chicken breasts
- 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
- 1/2 cup hoisin sauce
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 scallions/green onions, sliced
- Sesame seeds, toasted
- 2 cups brown rice
- 1 bunch broccoli, steamed
- Add olive oil, soy sauce and garlic to your slow cooker and stir.
- Add the chicken breasts, tossing until coated in the sauce.
- Cook for 8 hours on a low heat.
- Turn every 2 hours (if possible, not essential).
- Prepare sides dishes ready for serving.
- After 8 hours, check the chicken is cooked thoroughly and flakes easily with a fork
- Serve on top of your chosen sides, and enjoy!
