‘You can’t expect to change the world, without stepping out in to it’
The Gymshark world tour kicked off on the East Coast of the USA, stopping off in New York City, Philadelphia and Washington D.C.
From start to finish you can experience what went down when we made it to these incredible places; the atmosphere, the people, the cities.
We started off in New York City and our first stop was Times Square, where the fans were waiting before anyone had even step foot outside of the hotel.
As Nikki explains within the video, the atmosphere was electric and emotional, fans meeting their idols, inspiring stories (seriously, check out AJ’s story with Lex, wow) before we knew it, three to four hours had gone by and it was time to head back to the hotel for some much-needed rest.
Philadelphia, home of the Philly Cheesesteak (thanks Nikki) and Rocky Balboa (thanks Lex). We could not wait to immerse ourselves in the culture that surrounded this incredible place, and delve straight in to some sightseeing, whilst also meeting a new member of the team, Morgan Beverly.
A few days later it was time for the meetup and of course, the heavens opened causing a downpour of torrential rain, but did that stop the Gymshark fans? No. Way. We made it to the museum and as Lex explains, just underneath the cover were hundreds of people waiting with smiles on their faces to meet their favourite athletes. We spent four hours in what can only be described as the happiest, most exciting environment that we could only have dreamed of.
The Next stop was Washington D.C.
We made it to the Washington Monument on the day of the meetup and were once again overwhelmed by the outcome.
As Robin says; the energy was infectious, the stories told were incredible, and the people Gymshark meet continue to inspire, motivate and push us that little bit further, every single day.
Watch the first stop on the World Tour, join the family.
