IT'S THE BIGGEST FASHION EVENT OF THE YEAR.
In the week leading up to New York Fashion Week (NYFW for those chic enough to read and understand minimalistic lettering), Gymshark has partnered with Model Village to present Get Fired Up - a bespoke programme created to get the fashion catwalk models fit, and in shape for the most significant event within the fashion industry.
When there's a party, there's a theme. It's an essential.
For NYFW: Get Fired Up presents a:
Gymshark State of Mind
THE DATES: 27th-31st August
THE LOCATION: CITY ROW
They've taken inspiration from the City that never sleeps and focused all attention on creating a tailored workout that encompasses the image of a true New Yorker...
They're Determined. They're all about the energy. They aim to stand out in a fast-paced city...
INTRODUCING THE PRODUCT: ENERGY SEAMLESS COLLECTION.
It's fitting, right?
So, what happens when you combine Gymshark, a bunch of models and a week's preparation for New York Fashion Week?
WE LIKE TO THINK OF IT AS A TRIPLE THREAT...
Threat 1: Rowing
Threat 2: Increased Resistance
Threat 3: The Addition of Yoga, Pilates, Free Weights, Planking or Squats
Any sane human will admit that rowing is tiring enough without an additional resistance being added on...But, when it comes to fashion show prep, Model Village aren't one to take things at ease - they've upped the anti and joined forces with City Row for the ultimate triple threat workout session.
For those that don't know: City Row is a fitness studio which is well-known for combining activities such as yoga, pilates and mat work with intervals on their WaterRowers. We know, as if pilates weren't hard enough...
The session focused on the girls challenging their average daily workout by incorporating water based techniques to deliver a fast-paced and high energy experience in just 50 minutes.
A short, quick fire workout to suit the needs of an ever-busy city dweller.
