Strong never looked so good...
Whether it's your very first week or your first week back, freshers' is right around the corner. We know it can be a little scary but don't stress, we've rounded up some must-not-forgets for plain-sailing packing.
1. FRESHERS' PASS
It might sound simple, but they sell out...fast.
Your freshers' pass gets you guaranteed entry to all social events during freshers' week, so if you want to increase the odds of finding a friend fast then don't be late to the party (literally).
2. COLD & FLU MEDS
Nobody escapes freshers' flu. Nobody.
No one wants to be the kid taking notes on the back page scraps of somebody else's notebook. Stock up, and then some. You can never have too much stationery - biros disappear like bobby pins so trust us when we say multipacks are your friend.
Repeat after us: notepads, pens, highlighters and post-its.
4. CASH, ID & PHONE.
Night out necessities. Need we say more?
5. HOODIES, LEGGINGS & JOGGERS
The hangover heroes. If you're scrambling to your 9am half cut, chances are you're not feeling like putting too much thought into your threads.
Your culinary prowess might not extend far beyond chicken pasta, but chances are you're going to have to use at least the microwave at some point. Stock up on cutlery, pots, pans and tupperware. Check out our tips on staying healthy during freshers.
BYOM: bring your own mug.
We all know tea and coffee is a major part of the morning routine and nobody wants to share a mug - bring your own and don't be that flatmate.
Life admin aside, enjoy yourself and don't sweat the small stuff.
