YOGA STUDIO

Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport | Dallas, Texas

Focus. Stretch. Breathe. Repeat.

If you need a quick, relaxing break and some time to refresh in-between flights, head over to DFW's Yoga Studio. With two locations in Terminal B and one in Terminal E - travellers will find complimentary practice mats, exercise balls and resistance bands to use.

Whilst, the unmanned studios don't have instructors, they do however have 20-minute instructional videos for both beginners and advanced yogis.

BODYSTREET FITNESS STUDIO

Munich Airport | Munich, Germany

Bodystreet Fitness is a popular concept in Europe that combines low-impact personal training with electric muscle stimulation technology.

Don't know quite what that is? Basically, you perform a light workout whist wearing strategically-placed sensors which then target your muscles - as a result you perform your exercises more efficiently. Sounds weird, we know - but you've got to see it to believe it...

AMBASSADOR TRANSIT LOUNGE

CHANGI SINGAPORE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT | CHANGI, SINGAPORE

Airport lounges are great places to kick back with Wi-Fi and free snacks, but rarely are they also good places to exercise. Singapore's Ambassador Transit Lounge turns the dials - offering on-site bikes, treadmills, ellipticals, benches and free weights for travellers to use.

When you're done, those snacks will be waiting. Plus a shower. And a nap-suite.

FIT ON THE FLY AT FAIRMONT, VANCOUVER

Vancouver International Airport | Vancouver, BC, Canada

The in-airport Fairmont offers packages specifically for travellers on the go. Day passes include access to the hotel's full-service gym and pool, plus luggage storage and even head-to-toe workout gear if you don't have your own - or don't want to unpack your bags.

G-FORCE HEALTH CLUB

DUBAI INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT | DUBAI, UNITED ARAB EMIRATES

Located inside the Sheikh Rashid Terminal is G-Force Health Club, a 24/7 facility which features plenty of resistance and cardio machines for a good sweat.

More of a spa than a gym - the facility offers the luxury of a pool, hot-tub, steam room, saunas and massage facilities.

ROAM FITNESS

BALTIMORE-WASHINGTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT | BALTIMORE, MARYLAND

Roam Fitness is a new operation that has been trying to put gyms within all airports (domestic and international), around the world.

For now, they've got one location inside the Baltimore-Washington International Airport, with plans to open three more domestic locations in the upcoming months.

You'll find a range of cardio equipment - treadmills, bikes, a rowing machine, weights, TRX bands, and well, everything you'd ever need for a proper workout. Afterward, use one of the private showers to freshen up before your flight.
