Fight Club 

The first rule of fight club might be not to talk about fight club, but it wouldn’t be a list of movies that make you want to work out without it. 

In the film, Brad Pitt’s perfect balance between a lean and muscular physique will have you running to the barbell in no time. 

Top tip: If you’re looking at achieving Tyler Durden style body composition, we would recommend both strength training to build muscle AND cardio to keep your fat mass low. 


This one really doesn’t need an explanation, does it? 

For those of you that don't know, the Rocky film series follows the boxing career of Rocky Balboa (Sylvester Stallone), and graced our screens with *that* 72 step climb before the entrance of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. 

If you don't have Eye of the Tiger in your head right now, you're lying. 

G.I Jane

It might be an oldie, but when it comes to giving you gym inspiration. G.I Jane is definitely a goldie.

If Chris Evans can go from your average bloke to a muscular, ripped superhero in one movie why can’t we? 

That workout montage is enough to make you want to hit up the gym and start boxing.

Million Dollar Baby 

Another film with a kickass female lead that will have you wanting to hit up the gym in no time. This movie scored Hilary Swank an Oscar, and it is easy to see why. 

Her motivation, dedication and perseverance will give you to mental strength to feel like you can take on the world.
