Competitive sport and fitness
"Believe to achieve." Ryan Terry
Growing up I was a very competitive child who took part in every sport going. This led me to join a gym at the age of 14 as I thought this would improve my fitness levels. I also wanted to gain more self confidence as a teenager and I love the feeling when I step into the gym- my life worries and concerns are instantly forgotten.
Off-season weight 93kg
Stage weight 89kg
My personal mantra- 'Believe to achieve' .
A person who inspires me- Arnold Schwarzenegger. He is such a huge figure and inspiration in the bodybuilding world. He has achieved so much in such a short time and even at the age of 69 he is still proactively promoting the sport and a healthy lifestyle.
My favourite meal- Cheesecake factory smokehouse burger with sweet potato fries and Oreo milkshake.
In my gym bag you will find- Phone, Wallet, Dre beats, weight belt, wrist straps, BCAA and whey protein .
On my rest day- Socialise with family and friends. I like to have an active rest day so would tend to go on a walk with my girlfriend Amy.
My motivation comes from- Still having goals in my life that I need to achieve i.e. being number one in the world and holding the title of Mr Olympia keeps me hungry and motivated.
